New User Instructions:

Before attempting to setup as a server, verify that your mirc can DCC send files. No server (OmenServe, or any other) will function if MIRC can not. - Attempt to START (not receive) a DCC chat - No DCC file sends will ever work, with any serving script, if you can not start a DCC chat

Sends that fail are 99% of the time, caused by firewall or router issues

If you have a router, go to www.portforward.com for instruction on your brand of router

If sends work, but are slow, MIRC/OPTIONS/DCC/FSERVE/MAX CPS change from 8k cap, to 0

======

18> click "main", check "Server On" box, click "close"

19> setup complete, you should be serving default list, in channel added.

20> do NOT get fancy, adding additional lists and channels, until you have it working properly in one channel, with default list. Plenty of time to get fancy after you have a working system.

IMPORTANT!!! If this is an upgrade, open OS config - Skin's page, hit apply to reset colors, and turn server back on!
