Installation

Requirements:
·mIRC version 6.03 or higher (6.12 or higher highly recommended)
Loading the script:
·Once you have run the Autoget installation (which you already have or you wouldn't be able to see this help file) you need start up mirc and an load the script as shown below:
·Depending on where you put Autoget the command to load it can be different. The key things to remember are to include the path if you put it in a new folder and to enclose the path in quotations if the path has spaces in it. Below are some examples.
/load -rs Autoget.mrc (plain load from mirc directory)
/load -rs Autoget\Autoget.mrc (load from directory mirc\autoget\)
/load -rs "Autoget 7\Autoget.mrc| (load from directory mirc\autoget 7\)
·This will bring up the dialog box shown below. This is a standard dialog you'll get everytime you load a script which has any commands that execute as the script loads. PRESS YES. Autoget will load, check that all files are present, check that you have the appropriate version of mIRC and set the default values of options available in Autoget.
·You'll see a message in your status window telling you that the script loaded properly. Autoget is now loaded and ready to go.
Recommended Settings:
I recommend you change the following settings to get the most out of Autoget:
·Automatically receive, resume and minimize incoming files.
·DCC ignore OFF.
·Automatically reconnect when disconnected.
·Automatically rejoin channels.
I guess some of these settings might be considered unsafe by some, but that's just paranoia talking, as long as you follow the golden rule and don't open anything that you don't recognize you'll be just fine.
