Channel List: Now this part you'll want to pay careful attention too. The channel list controls what channels Autoget will send search strings to when you search from the search page. Any channel in the channel list that is checked will be searched. This is also where you control the downloading method of each channel. Again, the major channels I use are preset for you. When you click the add button you'll see the following dialog:

addchan

The add/edit channel dialog let's you specify the name and network of the channel you want to add and also sets the Download Method Autoget will use in that channel.

New in version 7.20 is "Stealth Mode" which uses a CTCP based requesting protocol supported by the latest version of OmeNServE. This new protocol is much quieter and much more efficient at transferring que information.

Join Now: The Join Now button performs the same function as the Connect command on the Autoget File menu. When you hit Join Now or Connect Autoget will go through the channel list and join all checked channels and connect you to all the necessary servers.

Network List: Autoget includes support for multiple servers. The Network List keeps track of what nicknames you use on what server to make adding channels on different servers easier. Autoget comes with the major networks already in the list. The nicknames that are stored with each server entry are used only when using Autoget to connect to multiple networks automatically. You can edit the name and associated nickname of each server by highlighting it and clicking the edit button or just by double clicking. The only reason to worry about what is in your server list is when you are using Autoget to connect to multiple servers automatically.
